After 3 years of absence, De Diaconie, in collaboration with Homebass and all their befriending partners, is organizing: The Homeless day (De Daklozen dag)!

The most fun party
without a roof
for everyone
without a home

A festival where everyone can feel at home. But homeless people in particular will be pampered this day. A richly filled program with music, art, dance, food, drinks, and especially many special encounters.
This day is made possible by dozens of social partners.

GOALS:

• 750 visitors, (+/- 450 homeless, 100 former homeless, 200 volunteers & staff)

• Provide stage for community organisations, creatives and entrepreneurs

• Guide team of homeless people in organizing, programming and promoting an event

• Create new collaborations between artists and companies

• Familiarize Amsterdam with the homeless talent, knowledge and characters that Amsterdam has to offer: a wonderful de-stigmatizing "experience", this is mainly through media partnerships
